Designed primarily for travel photography, it has been engineered to be the smallest in its class, less than 9.1cm and only 496g. The 102° (18mm) to 130° (10mm) angle of view provides flexibility for photographers to compose landscape or architecture photos with ease.

The aperture system is carefully re-designed to produce the best sun-star renderings among all UWA lenses on the market.

This compact and light lens comprises of 14 elements in 10 groups with 2 pcs of aspherical elements and 1 pc of Extra-low dispersion elements.

The patented optical design successfully minimizes distortion and chromatic aberrations and delivers superb optical performance from corner to corner.

This is our very first zoom lens, and the world’s widest zoom lens for Sony and Nikon full-frame mirrorless cameras. It provides a flexible angle of view from 102° (18mm) to 130° (10mm), which is excellent for composition in landscape or architecture photography.

Light and Compact

Designed primarily for travel photography, compressed to a size which is the smallest in its class. Less than 9.1 cm and only 496g compared to Sony FE 12-24mm f/4 G which is 565g and 87 x 117.4mm.

Ultra Close Focusing Distance

This lens features a very close focusing distance compared to other wide angle lenses, as close as 15cm for macro shooting.

37mm Rear Filter mount built in & 100mm Filter Holder Available

The optional 37mm rear filter and optional 100mm front filter holder enable photographers to use this lens for an expanded range of applications. Travel photographers can easily use the 37mm filter without installing any front filter holder. Of course if you would like to install 100mm gradient front filters, an innovative LAOWA magnetic filter holder will take care of this. More details about the filter holder coming soon.

Click/Clickless Aperture

Clicked/clickless aperture can be toggled by a switch on the lens barrel which allows users to quickly switch between clicked and clickless aperture. Extremely useful for videographers.
