I’ve been having alot of ultra-wide fun with the LAOWA 12mm f/2.8 since I got a hold of one for my Canon 5DIV.
f/2.8 means its a great Astrophotography lens, especially for star trails and for those close up foregrounds. The optics are great for those pinpoint stars in the corners of your shot, not what you’d expect from the bulbous front element. But I also love it for Landscape photography. Being able to use my 100mm NiSi filters with the specific NiSi adapter with minuscule vignetting makes this lens really versatile for longer exposures across big grand vistas, sunrises, sunsets and getting up close to waterfalls.
